About HBC

HBC got its start because of, what the kiddos like to call me, Miss. Justyne! i can change any behavior with time and support, and I am training my staff to do the same. You might say, I am a behavior whisperer of sorts! I took the time and continue to take the time to stop and see people, to listen, and to be compassionate. I use my eyes to hear you and my heart to listen and let guide me, and my amazing team is just the same! I think mostly, I was not so different growing up then some of the children we see and treat. I had acute lead poisoning (heavy metal) as a child and that lead to a lot of disabilities such as reading comprehension, undiagnosed sensory challenges ( yep, I used to roll in a blanket too, my mom use to call the doctor and say "She looks like a butterfly cocoon she is wrapped so tight".), and a deficit in social skills (you would not be able to tell this today). It took a lot of people, a village, to grow me into who I am now. I am no different then most people, we all have a story. Mine starts and ends in this very arena. I want to be a person who helps others grow, break down barriers and red tape, waive HIPPA to open up the possibility to everyone being able to benefit from the research and work we are doing and not to keep it a secret so others can't access and learn from it. We certainly are not for everyone, and that's ok too! We also love you and respectfully release you with love if we are not the place that jives with you and your kiddo. We made the conscious decision to waive all non-competes for our team members, becasue we do not believe we have the right to control people, when and where they can make money, and who they can service. We want you to be a part of our journey, and we want to be a part of yours to, without a ball and chain of course. We believe in Pro-Choice and having the option to chose what is best for you and your family without judgement or force. One of our core values is people first. Yes we are professional and follow all the guidelines and rules that are set forth for us, however, we are humans first and foremost without apology. People need help and they need it now. Our intention is just that, to be of assistance, to be your village, and to serve you so our clients can go and grow to be their best self, just like me.
